Warwick Fuller, born in 1948, is one of Australia's most renowned landscape painters. Despite having no formal art training, apart from studying with Kevin Oxley in 1979, he was inspired by the landscape paintings of his grandfather. His work has earned him significant recognition, including being appointed a Fellow of the Royal Art Society of New South Wales. Fuller also served as President of the Penrith Regional Art Gallery and was on its management committee. Since 1978, he has painted full-time, finding inspiration in nature and preferring to work outdoors, where he can fully engage with the landscape. Fuller is known for capturing the emotional essence of a scene, rather than simply depicting its physical elements. His talent even caught the attention of King Charles III, who commissioned him as an official artist to capture scenes of the 2024 royal tour in Australia. Fuller’s art is deeply connected to the natural world, reflecting his passion for expressing its intangible beauty.
