J. Colin Angus (1907-2002) began painting later in life (around 1968). He composed in a an Impressionist landscape style. His work was well received and has been exhibited frequently. He also won several awards including the Albury Prize four times as well as overseas awards in France and The USA. In recent years his works have continued to command good prices for their idyllic and atmospheric scenes.
