Lilie Lowe was born in Albury in 1897 and active from the 1920s until the 1970s. She lived in the Windsor and Hawkesbury River areas and painted landscapes there and on the Central Coast. Her work was accepted into competition for the Wynne Prize twice; in 1958 and again in 1966.
