Margaret Wills (1933-2018) was a popular Australian artist born in South Australia. She honed her craft at the South Australian School of Art in Adelaide and under private tutors in Sydney. As a Fellow of the Royal Art Society, Sydney, and a Foundation Member of the Miniature Art Society, Wills made a significant mark on the Australian art scene. Renowned for her traditional style, she showcased her captivating portraits and abstract art in exhibitions across Sydney, suburbs, and Canberra.

Wills received a prestigious commission from the Duke of Edinburgh to paint two pieces depicting the Australian bush, which now grace the Royal household. Operating from her studio in the family home, Belrose Estate, she passionately contributed to the art community, notably sponsoring the Ku-ring-gai Art Society and establishing the Margaret Wills best in show award with the Australian Society of Miniature Art.
