Victor Robert Watt (1886–1970) was an Australian artist born in Newcastle, New South Wales. He is best known for his watercolour paintings depicting rural and pastoral scenes, such as farmhouses, grazing sheep, country roads, and bush landscapes. Watt's style is realistic and detailed, often using soft, muted tones to capture the atmosphere of the Australian countryside. His compositions focus on quiet moments in everyday rural life, featuring open paddocks, gum trees, and distant hills. Throughout his career, he maintained a consistent approach, emphasizing accurate but unromanticised views of the landscape. In addition to his artistic work, Watt served as the manager of Swain's Art Gallery in Sydney for a period. He passed away in Gordon, New South Wales, in 1970
