John Borrack (1933-) has been a professional painter since the 1950s remains an active artist in watercolour and oil and continues to exhibit. He is a graduate in Fine Arts from RMIT. He has travelled Australia widely and paints on themes of coastlands, mountains and deserts. Here is a link to an excellent summary of his influences listed on the John Borrack website at the time of a January, 2022 retrospective exhibition. There are many sites that give strong revierws of John Borrack’s work and influences. The National Gallery of Australia has several of Borrack's paintings in its collection, including "Winter's Afternoon, Mount Wellington" and "Garden in Autumn". These works were acquired by the gallery in the 1970s and 1980s.

Similarly, the National Gallery of Victoria has several of Borrack's works in its collection, including "The Artist's Garden" and "Summer Evening". These works were acquired by the gallery in the 1960s and 1970s.
